Terms of Service
Last updated 7 October 2026 · Applies to sautidesk.com and app.sautidesk.comThese terms are the agreement between you and SautiDesk when you use our customer service software. We have written them in plain English so you can see what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using SautiDesk, you agree to these terms. If you use SautiDesk on behalf of a company or team, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation, and "you" means that organisation.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.
2. What SautiDesk does
SautiDesk is customer service software. It brings calls, WhatsApp, SMS, email and web chat into one shared list so your team can answer customers and keep a clear history of each conversation.
We may improve, add or retire features over time. We will try to give notice before removing a feature that many customers rely on.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
- You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including the actions of the users you invite.
- Keep your sign-in details private and tell us promptly at legal@sautidesk.com if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use SautiDesk lawfully and responsibly. You must not:
- break any law that applies to you or your customers, including laws on data protection, consumer protection and electronic communications;
- contact people who have not agreed to hear from you, or send spam, scams or misleading messages;
- upload or send content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing or infringes someone else's rights;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the service, other accounts or our systems, or disrupt how the service works;
- resell or sublicense the service, or copy it to build a competing product, without our written agreement.
You are responsible for getting any consent your customers need to give before you record calls or message them. We may suspend access to stop misuse.
5. Fees and billing
SautiDesk is priced by the number of users on your account, plus usage that you pay for from a prepaid balance. Current prices and what each charge covers are shown on our pricing page and in your account.
Usage such as calls and messages is deducted from your prepaid balance as you use it. If your balance runs out, usage that depends on it may pause until you top up. Prepaid balances are for use with the service and are not redeemable for cash except where the law requires.
Per-user fees are charged for the period shown at the time you subscribe. Unless we say otherwise, fees are quoted in Kenyan shillings and may be subject to taxes that apply. We may change prices with reasonable notice, and any change applies from your next billing period.
6. Your data
You own the data you and your customers put into SautiDesk, including conversations, contacts and recordings ("customer data"). You give us permission to store and process that data only as needed to run the service for you, keep it secure and meet our legal obligations.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and use the customer data you bring to the service. How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export your customer data while your account is active. After your account ends, we will delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it.
7. Availability and support
We work to keep SautiDesk available and reliable, but we cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Planned maintenance, problems with telecom or internet networks, and events outside our control can affect the service.
Support is available by email and through the help options in the product. Response times may vary by plan.
8. Limits of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any warranty beyond what is stated in these terms.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the event that led to the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop using SautiDesk and close your account at any time. Closing your account does not by itself refund fees already paid, except where the law requires.
We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if you do not pay what you owe, or if we are required to by law. Where reasonable, we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first.
Sections that by their nature should continue after the agreement ends, such as those on data, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a material change, we will tell you by email or in the product before it takes effect. If you keep using SautiDesk after the change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you can close your account.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. If we cannot resolve a disagreement by talking it through, the courts of Kenya will have jurisdiction over it.
